The development projects (3!) on Hillside Ave that straddles the New York / New Jersey border will affect Upper Saddle River and its neighbors – enormously. Airmont / Chestnut Ridge / Rockland County appear to either be incapable of dealing with it, or won’t, or are dragging their feet. But the danger for Upper Saddle River is the draining of the aquifer.
Reminder: Many Upper Saddle River homes use well water. That comes from the very same aquifer.

As always it is in residents best interest to be informed and involved.
Action by residents is essential as the mayor and council are NOT proactive enough.
