Is there a crisis in Upper Saddle River?
A rare Monday meeting has been called for March 25, 2019 at 7pm.
In a town known for it’s curiously short council meetings (mayor exits while resident is speaking at podium) Upper Saddle River Council has called for a Special Meeting.
Public notice regarding the meeting shows there is now a vacancy on the council, there is a need for a deputy clerk (really?), and behind closed doors, in secret, there will be a discussion about ‘Litigation’.
Has the ongoing debacle with Toll Brothers caused a crisis?
Are council members worn out?
Do residents need to fear more money disappearing from the coffers for additional staff.
And the litigation?
In a town with crazy taxes, for limited returns, it would be interesting to know exactly what is going on.
Transparency.
Not a familiar word in town.
